Some mom's really like to do the crafts and have every minute planned of every day. Frankly, I'm not one of them. There is a huge expectation for women of the church to have this insanely busy schedule - being crafty, scrapbooking, gospel filled discussions at every turn, spotless house, perfectly behaved children, attend all church and RS functions. What helped me feel better was Pres. Uchtdorf's talk about choosing the better instead of the good. ALL of those things are good, but we need to simplify our lives and really concentrate on the great things instead of the good. If you are happy with how your life is going, how your children are being raised, then the other stuff doesn't matter.

That's my soap box for the night.Lori-annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04102354631238493261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504962043523362087.post-57104491379427131022011-05-08T16:39:50.329-07:002011-05-08T16:39:50.329-07:00Amen and Amen!!Amen and Amen!!Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02964775089582645583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504962043523362087.post-35861341788356727072011-05-08T11:24:18.042-07:002011-05-08T11:24:18.042-07:00If you feel bad just know you are the only one com...If you feel bad just know you are the only one complaining and just keep trying!Dan Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02829206728462025545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504962043523362087.post-43198386848878143482011-05-08T11:21:42.268-07:002011-05-08T11:21:42.268-07:00I know I've felt the same way before. Some days are better than others, but even so, it is a constant trial that we need to deal with. I'm glad that you are my daughter....you give me a boost when I need it. Happy Mother's Day...I think you're doing a great job!Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17153269820620887896noreply@blogger.com
