1 Year ago, I was super duper pregnant and ready to have our 2nd baby.
1 Year ago today, August 17th, 2010, at 2:00 a.m., my water broke and we headed to the hospital expecting our little Taylor to enter the world shortly thereafter...
After 20 hours of, well, nothing, the doctors and us decided to proceed with a C-section.
And sometime right around 10:00 p.m., the hospital operating room's concentrated mood was broken with the sound of a baby's cry...
Will and I looked at him and thought he looked just like his big brother, Preston. He was a healthy 8 pounds even, and 19.75 inches long.
He was so precious and adorable...
The next morning, big brother Preston got to meet his little brother for the very first time. He was SO excited, and so gentle and kind.
It took us 2 days to finally name him...Taylor Alexander Thomas.
He has been such a sweet addition to our family.
And now look at him!
Happy birthday Taylor! Our spunky adventurous no-fear little redheaded baby!
P.S. Will's sister, Elizabeth, had their baby today too and so we have a new niece and they'll get to share their birthdays! How fun!

Happy Birthday Taylor, My water broke about the same time yours did. Baby Sister and Taylor are going to best friends just like Preston and Gwenevere.
Happy Birthday Taylor. We appreciate you and "baby sister Roemhilt" so much for arranging your birthdays to be on our anniversay. Hopefully, we'll never forget that date.
