Enrichment Night: Jenni Teaching

I had the opportunity to teach Enrichment tonight. I enjoy teaching, particularly when it's on a subject I feel confident in: Music.

We discussed the different periods in music history, and then let everyone sample excerpts of music from each. And then we ended the evening with performances by women in the ward.

Welcome to Jenni's Ristorante Italiano

I wanted to surprise Will with something romantic and fun, so I turned our dining room into "Jenni's Ristorante Italiano" complete with:

And of course with the low lighting we get:

Later on, Will got a facial. I don't think he wanted me to share this picture, but I couldn't resist.

Will's Younger Sister's Wedding (Mark & Laura)

An adorable picture of Seth with cousin Ryanne's baby

We also got to spend some time with Jenni's siblings. We stayed with Stephen and Ileana in Provo, UT. Love those goofballs.

And then we visited Mike & Emmy and the troop to meet a new nephew, James.

And last of all, we got to take a really pretty drive around the Aspen Loop and see all of the changing colors of the fall leaves.

Will's Younger Sister's Wedding (James & Elizabeth)

What a busy season it has been for weddings. Just this year, we have had 4 weddings between our two families (ours, Stephen's, Laura's, and Elizabeth's)

This weekend was Elizabeth and James's wedding. What a cute couple they are too! Elizabeth looked absolutely beautiful and the colors she chose I thought were very nice too.

Alki Beach with Jenni's Parents

We're still having fun in our "new" city, so we met Jenni's parents on Alki Beach for fish 'n chips and a great view of the city.

Hood to Coast 2005

This weekend Will and his team of friends/runners participated in the Hood to Coast Relay Race. This is the 2nd or 3rd time Will has run this race, so it is old hat for him.

This year, being a spouse of one of the runners, I had to participate as a volunteer. So I got to wear lovely bright orange and direct parking traffic at one of the switch stations. It was actually quite fun!

After a tiring day (for Will), we met my parents at a Seaside restaurant and refueled on some carb and protein. (they happened to be in Seaside that weekend too)
