Camera-less

I just saw Will's brother's blog about how they currently don't have a camera due to it being broken by one of their children who shall remain nameless. :) Haha.

We are also currently camera-less. Except our's was dropped into the Pacific Ocean on a recent kayaking trip. The person who dropped it into the ocean, shall also remain nameless.

1 digital camera that lasted us 6 years that finally gave us error codes right around Thanksgiving, prompted us to buy a new digital camera for Christmas and it only lasted us 2 months. I don't think getting salt water into your camera qualifies as a free exchange.

The following are the final pictures taken on our camera before it got dumped into the Puget Sound. Thankfully the memory card survived.

Utsalady Bay, about a 2 minute drive down the hill from our house...

Yes, that is ice on the kayak. It was below 20 degrees outside.

With all that Ice how could you expect any thing else?

You may have lost a camera, but you got some great shots first.

I think the post came across as light hearted. Although I would be bugged having lost a camera just 2 months after buying it. Those things, especially decent ones, aren't the cheapest, and especially for a family who doesn't have a constant paycheck.

Tell you what, it really looks like it was a nice camera. You got some great shots. I love the second one in particular. SOOO beautiful! I can't wait to come visit!

Oh Sad. At least you got some great pics before it went splash!

We recently lost one of our cameras too (the one we've had for 6 years and had a broken lcd screen), but it was the one that stayed in my purse all the time for those spur of the moment shots. The one time I take it out and give it to my husband, it gets lost :( At least we have our "good" camera still.

Oh and we are going to have to plan a playdate sometime out to your place. It looks so beautiful! Maybe in the summer though!
