Last Day!

Just met with the Internal Medicine doctor this morning and good news is it looks like I get to go home today. Yay! I get to break out of prison finally.

My Lypaise levels went down from 1200 to 1050. Or something like that. So they gave me the option of staying here or going home and figuring it out. Duh. I opted for going home.

I have to meet with a nutritionalist first, just so I have a better idea of some food ideas to acclimate my stomach back into normalcy. And I still need to meet with my OB to go over a few final things. But then it looks like we're free.

We'll head straight up to my parents house to pick up our homesick 2 year old. We are very excited to see him again - we've missed him.

Poor Taylor has been dealing with some tummy issues - he cries this sad painful cry every time he tries to push out gas or poo. I think it's due to my own tummy issues being passed on to him through breastfeeding. I'm hoping that within a few days as I eat more normal food, his tummy will acclimate too. :(

Well that's all. C'est la vie Evergreen Hospital! It's been nice staying here, but can't say we'll miss ya. Actually for real I am very grateful for the doctors and nurses who have helped me and wanted to just make sure I was okay before sending me solo.

Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you! I'm thankful that they kept you until they felt it safe for you to go home, but MAN, what an ordeal! Give Preston a great big hug and go home and enjoy every moment.

And eating with a sick gall bladder can be interesting - you just have to be creative. You don't want to have it removed. It's not fun.
