5 years ago, on Friday, March 25th, 2005, Will and I were married in the Portland Oregon LDS Temple for EVER and ever and ever...and ever...and ever. :)
As I type this blog, at 8:47 a.m. on Thursday, March 25th, 2010...I feel that same excitement again as I did on our wedding day.
This weekend, to celebrate 5 years, we're heading back to Portland to re-create our wedding day. This Saturday, we'll start the day off with a sealing session at the Portland Temple, followed by a sandwich picnic lunch, followed by some fabulous dinner reservations (courtesy of Will, as I have no clue where we're going), followed by a great night staying in the exact same room at the Paramount Hotel - where we stayed our wedding night.
Of course some things will be a little different this time.
This time, we have an almost-2 year old who we will be leaving with his Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle James for the weekend.
This time, I will be 5 months pregnant.
And this time, we will be even more in love with each other than on our wedding day. We know each other better. We have a lot more memories that we've shared together as well.
It's definitely something to celebrate.
We were originally hoping to go on a cruise to the Carribean on our 5 yr anniversary, but being that we were unemployed for the past year and I'm now 5 months pregnant...the cruise isn't sounding like a great plan.
We're hoping to do it for our 6 year anniversary. :)
Here are some of our wedding blogs in case you wanted to take a blast into the past:

Jenni, Loving tears filled this old dad's eyes as he looked at the pictures you posted of you and Will on your wedding day, and I thought about the wonderful eternal family you have created. Congratulations on this most special wedding anniversary.
Dad
