The men who all participated in Preston's blessing were: Dan Thomas (Will's dad), Ron Southworth (Jenni's dad), Derrell Lindsay (Jenni's grandpa), James Roemhildt (Will's sister's husband), Aaron Nisbet (a good friend), Pat Sansing (our hometeacher), and Bishop Nelson (our bishop).
Will gave a wonderful blessing to Preston, and some of the things that were said in the blessing were: He is a special spirit born into a loving home, to look towards his mother and follow her example, to look towards the light of Christ to fight off the evils of Satan, he will be an example to others, to have a desire to serve a mission, to have a desire to be sealed in the temple one day, to serve others, have a charitable heart, and to be faithful.
Preston got to wear a cute little white sweater onesie that Will had worn at his baby blessing. And he was also wrapped in a pale yellow knitted blanket that my dad had blessed my older brother in as a baby.
After church, we came back to our home and we had a luncheon. I included lots of pictures below from the day.
The spread - chicken salad or ham/cheese croissants, watermelon, veggies, green salad, peanut butter & chocoloate chip bars, and mini lemon meringue pies.

Four Generations - Jenni, Carolyn (Jenni's mom), Thelma (Jenni's Grandma), and Preston
Grandma Thomas rocking Preston to sleep. Preston lovvvvvvvvvved his Grandma Thomas. She has some magic baby skills. I learned a lot from watching her just for one day.
Elizabeth (Will's younger sister) and her husband James. Elizabeth is pregnant and due in January! Yay another baby blessing. Does this mean we get to go to Hawaii for the blessing since they live there? Will? Please say yes. :)

Great Grandma Lindsay in the kitchen slicing up a watermelon
Grandma Thomas...just content to holding Preston instead of eating lunch herself.
G-Grandma had to bounce Preston in between pictures to get him to stop fussing LOL. Either that or she is doing squats.

Come on G-Grandpa Lindsay, you need a turn too! :)
Grandpa Thomas looks right at home holding a baby. Then again, he did raise 10 of them!
Grandpa Southworth...excited to finally have a grandchild close to home!
And finally, proud Dad and Mom. Preston, we love you and are so glad you are a part of our family!

Will - do you have gray hair?
Mom - you look dang good for your age in these pictures :) Way to go grandma.
Jenni - yeah for good blogs. I love it. You also look dang good!
How come everyone else gets compliments of looking good and young and I get the gray hair comment. LOL
Yes! I do have plenty of gray. I'm getting wiser by the day. I'm trying to catch Dad. We'll let you compare at Christmas time.
Preston's blessing was so awesome. It was great to share that moment with you guys. I can't wait till James blesses our little baby. You guys should difinately come to hawaii for the blessing. We get enough people who want to come out for the blessing. We have some friends in our ward who manage a vacation house out on the point. We could look into getting a discount for everyone and having a big weekend party or however long you guys can come for.
It was a fun blessing. Will it is not so bad to have "wise" hair. You sure gave a good blessing. You are wise to let Jenni get out and do some fun things. Will you gave a very good blessing. It was worth every minute of travel to hear you say those kind and inspired words. We will go down for Mark and Laura's blessing this weedend. It is sure nice the way this worked out with all the blessings.
Looks like you had a great time. Preston sure is a cutie!! Wish I could've been there.
I bet you don't have as much gray hair as I do. But I have to agree that mom looks soooooo good in those pictures. I love all the pics. Congrats you guys.
Congratulations on getting through all of that intact! (((HUGS)))
